Yang Yang is a storyteller, a memory-based illustrator who graduated from University of the Arts London in 2019 and the Royal College of Art in 2021.

I appreciate plants, deep sea creatures, and every nature element. Human beings’ mind is a combination of contradiction, I enjoy both the beauty appear on the surface and the cruelty hidden in the details. I believe every person has dark thoughts (in every way), as an artist’s self-expression, my works are a gentle mix of dark stories and bright colours, just like myself.

我喜欢植物，海底的生物，一切与自然相关的元素。人的想法是矛盾的结合体，我既喜欢事物表面的安静美好，也喜欢暗藏在细节的残忍。我认为每个人都有过黑暗的想法（各种意义上的），我不想否认它，我希望我的画作能像我本人一样，把黑暗的一面温柔地隐藏在明亮的色彩下。
